1. What this policy covers

This Cookie Policy explains how Propsynk uses browser storage, analytics scripts and related technologies on propsynk.com. It supplements our Privacy Policy.

Visiting the website does not mean that you consent to optional analytics. Vercel Web Analytics is loaded only after you select “Accept analytics.” You can refuse or later withdraw that choice without losing access to the public website.

2. What cookies are

Cookies are small text files stored by a browser. Similar technologies include localStorage, session storage, pixels, scripts and software development kits.

The public Propsynk website currently uses localStorage to remember your analytics choice. It does not use a cookie to keep visitors signed in, and Vercel Web Analytics does not use third-party tracking cookies. Hosting providers may still process ordinary request and security logs when delivering the website; those server-side records are not browser cookies and are not controlled by the analytics preference.

3. Technologies and data currently used

Consent preference — we store the key “propsynk-cookie-consent” in your browser's localStorage with the value “accepted” or “rejected.” It has no automatic expiry and remains until you change the preference, reset it on this page, or clear this site's browser data. This record is necessary to remember and honour your choice.

Optional analytics — after you accept, Vercel Web Analytics records anonymous page views and limited custom events. Data points may include the event timestamp, page URL and route, filtered query parameters, referrer, approximate country or region derived from the request, browser, operating system, device type and analytics-script version. Vercel uses a request-derived visitor hash rather than a third-party tracking cookie and discards the visitor-session identifier after 24 hours.

The custom events used by this site are App Store link clicks with a general page location and successful email-signup submissions. We do not send the submitted email address to Vercel Analytics.

Hosting and security — Vercel and network providers necessarily process requests to deliver and secure the site. This can include IP address, request time, requested URL, browser or request headers, response status and security signals. These operational records exist independently of optional Web Analytics and are described further in our Privacy Policy.

We do not currently use advertising cookies, cross-site behavioural advertising, third-party retargeting pixels, social-media tracking pixels, embedded social widgets or Vercel Speed Insights on this website.

4. Your choice

When you first visit, a banner asks whether to accept optional analytics. Rejecting is as easy as accepting. If you reject before analytics has been enabled, the Vercel Analytics script is not loaded.

You can change your decision at any time using the controls on this page. If you withdraw a previous acceptance, the page reloads to remove the injected analytics runtime and continues without optional analytics. Resetting removes the saved preference and shows the consent banner again. Your choice applies only to this browser and device; other browsers or devices keep their own setting.

5. Browser controls

Most browsers let you inspect, block or delete cookies and site storage. Clearing localStorage for propsynk.com removes the saved analytics choice, so the banner will appear again. Private or incognito browsing normally removes local site data when the private session ends.

Browser “Do Not Track” signals are not a substitute for the preference controls on this site because there is no consistently implemented industry standard for those signals. Use Reject analytics or the controls on this page to record your choice.

6. Email updates and third parties

The product-news email form is separate from analytics and does not depend on accepting cookies. When you submit it, the email address and submission time are sent to our server and stored in Notion so we can provide the updates you requested. The email address is not included in Vercel Analytics events. See our Privacy Policy for the legal basis, retention and unsubscribe process.

Vercel operates the website hosting and optional Web Analytics services. Notion stores product-news signups. Their processing may occur outside Canada and is also governed by their own privacy terms.

7. Updates

We may update this policy when our website tools or practices change. If a change materially affects an existing consent choice, we will provide a new notice or ask for consent again where required. Last updated: August 31, 2026.
