British Columbia

A landlord app built for rentals in BC.

Set up an existing tenancy, track rent and repairs, create a supported RTB-1 agreement and keep the resulting record connected to the rental.

What works here

Provincial workflow,
product facts first.

Propsynk launched in British Columbia after structured interviews with self-managing landlords in BC, Ontario and Alberta.

The app supports rent tracking, repair requests, screening, maintenance-entry coordination and records. For new BC agreements, it can fill the supported RTB-1 workflow and append an RTB-26 Schedule of Parties when more than two tenants must be listed.

Start an existing tenancy in minutes

Begin with the address, tenant display name, monthly rent and next due date. Add deposits, dates, documents and the tenant invitation afterward.

Create the supported BC agreement

Fill the RTB-1 from tenancy data, include the RTB-26 schedule when needed, add supporting pages and send the agreement through DocuSign.

Keep a dated rent ledger

Track rent, partial payments, charges, deposits and the date money was received instead of reconstructing the history from messages.

Handle written repair requests

BC guidance says tenants must request repairs in writing and keep a copy. Propsynk keeps the report, photos, messages and status together.

Explore workflow

Coordinate maintenance entry

Create a written maintenance-entry notice containing the reason, date and time, send it to the tenant and retain dated confirmation in the workflow.

Organize supporting records

On Pro, file inspections, notices, receipts and other supporting documents against the tenancy they belong to.

Important boundaries

Useful software.
Not legal advice.

BC government guidance currently says written notice for entry must generally be provided at least 24 hours and no more than 30 days before entry, state a reasonable reason, date and time, and specify a time between 8 a.m. and 9 p.m. Exceptions exist, including emergencies. Always check the current government guidance for the situation.

Propsynk does not currently generate termination or rent-increase notices. It does not determine whether entry or service is lawful, guarantee proper service, or guarantee that a document will be accepted in a dispute.

Questions

Local details,
answered plainly.

Is Propsynk affiliated with the BC Residential Tenancy Branch?

No. Propsynk is independent rental-management software and is not endorsed by or affiliated with the Province of British Columbia or the Residential Tenancy Branch.
